The Mid Atlantic region has much to offer the fresh water angler. It's topography consist of many lakes, rivers and streams that are rich in habitat for numerous warm water species....
The  major lakes that come to mind include Pennsylvania's
Raystown, Blue Marsh, Wallenpaupak, Pymatuning and Erie in the northwest corner of the state. Maryland has it's own little jewel called Deep Creek in the far western corner of it's borders and numerous smaller reservoirs near the city of Baltimore, one of which( Liberty ) is known for record Hybrid striped bass. Virginia has Lake Anna,
Smith Mountain, most of Kerr and a part of Gaston both whom border North Carolina. West Virginia has it's spattering along the Interstate 79 corridor and North Carolina offers a smorg- asborg of southern style angling. Rivers too many to mention include the Tidal and upper Potomac and Pennsylvania's Susquehanna. The Lower Potomac has become an angling mecca on the B.A.S.S. circuit. The Susquehanna and the
upper Potomac are some of the finest smallmouth waters in
the nation.Delaware's ponds offer some fine fishing as well.
In keeping the Keystone Angler in mind , the following pages will offer the sportsman information and resources to  pursue his sport. We will cover Pennsylvania and the surrounding  states. Because of the close proximity and the vast opportunities of our neighbors it would be a "crime" not to include them.  Lets go fishing........................Dizzy
